Stylishly furnished light-filled, spacious bedroom available in large beautifully furnished and well maintained modern home with owner and a ANU student.

All bedding is provided, including both summer and winter donnas. Towels and bath mats are also provided.

The room has a queen bed; desk, chair and lamp; two bedside tables; and very large built-in wardrobe. The bedroom is located at the back of the house and consequently is very quiet and private.

The master bathroom separates the two "student" bedrooms giving an almost ensuite feel. The master bathroom was recently beautifully renovated and has recessed sensor lighting, under-floor heating and a large heated towel rack. The master bedroom (with ensuite) is located in a different wing of the home.

The price includes the use of shared items such as laundry detergent, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid etc. Food is not included.

Full kitchen with cooking utensils and crockery/cutlery. Basically my home has everything that opens and shuts and everything is high quality. If you cater for yourself you will need clean up after yourself.

I have a large capacity solar panel system which, when used correctly, reduces the electricity costs. I have also recently installed a battery so the electricity costs are minimal to non-existent.

You must be clean, tidy, respectful and do your share of the household tasks.

The home has extensive gardens with numerous outdoor entertaining and sitting areas. The garden has been designed as a sanctuary to relax and re-energise in from the day to day ups and downs of modern life. I have recently installed a high-end spa in the garden.

There is a short walk or cycle to ANU, shops (O'Connor, Lyneham and Dickson), bars, restaurants, parks and other amenities.

I have been sharing with ANU students for about 15 years and references can be provided on request.
