Main bedroom available in a 2 bedroom townhouse in Holt, 20min bus ride to ANU. The unit is in a quiet, safe complex with great sunset views. Close to Kippax shops and bus interchange is 10 min walk away, and a bus stop at the top of the road. The Belconnen Mall and CISAC are a short drive or bus ride away. Close to local reserves running/walking trails. Ideal for studying or relaxing after work. I have the smaller room but will be away interstate for the majority of the year, so you'll have the place to yourself. I occasionally need to come back for a week or so.

The room - This is the large main bedroom and includes a double bed, bedside table, desk/chair and double inbuilt wardrobe. The large window overlooks the front garden and lets in plenty of light. Adjoining two way shared bathroom, with privacy locks.

The house has a small backyard with a compost bin, fire pit and veggie garden that you’re welcome to use. There is a parking space available and lockable storage in the garage for bikes. Reverse cycle A/C and heating are available in the communal living areas and NBN costs are split evenly.

The housemate - Deb, mid 40s, working in the APS 4 days/week with a bit of studying and volunteering thrown in. Enjoys hiking, all things science, swimming and the gym.

Ideal flatmate is a female, non smoker, preferably late 20s & 30s, who has lived on their own before and had experience share housing. I'll be asking for 2 references, a police check and a stable income. Ideally you’re in the later years of study or a young professional and are friendly, reliable with communication skills and trustworthy.
