Looking for a short to medium term tenant to join our fun, family oriented home. The house is located in an exciting and up and coming area, close to ANU and the city - only a short cycle, walk or bus ride away.

The room available has a double bed and built in wardrobe. It can include a desk if needed. The room has a lovely outlook onto the street, local parklands and the Brindabella mountains. The house has a semi open plan living, kitchen and dining room. It has a bathroom (shared) with a large shower (no bath) and a separate additional toilet. The house is close to nearby walking trails on Mount Ainslie and Mount Pleasant, a variety of good coffee shops and restaurants and Lake Burley Griffin. The house comes with a beautiful - but often messy - garden, complete with flowering camelias, daffodils and bottlebrush trees.

You will be sharing the house with a working professional woman in her mid 30s and her almost 3 year old son. The house has a lively and positive atmosphere. It would suit a female Australian or international student who likes young children and can tolerate the fun, mess and noise which goes with this. The rent is priced at lower than market value to reflect these unique circumstances. All bills included, including internet.

We are happy to discuss terms with the right candidate. We are not able to accommodate visitors, friends or partners visiting the property during your tenancy.

This household is predominantly English speaking but we also speak French and small amounts of other languages. We would be happy to welcome international students on exchange programs for a semester. We would be happy to introduce you to Canberra too!
