One room available in a north-facing apartment on the border of Turner and O'Connor. It's a fantastic location - we're right on the tram line, round the corner from the Polish Club, the Duxton and the O'Connor shops, and we're a twenty minute walk / 5 minute bike ride from both ANU and the city. The street is lined with oak trees and there is a garden with BBQ facilities behind the apartment which is often filled with cute dogs owned by the other residents. The complex itself dates from the late 90s, is salmon pink with terracotta roof tiles and has plenty of rustic charm. Rent for the room is $200 a week. It's a ground-floor room with a large wardobe and a private balcony area that faces the apartment garden (perfect for flower pots or some veggie containers) The room comes with its own entrace, which is helpful if you have a bike.

You’ll be sharing with Eugenie and Indy. Eugenie works for the APS regulating energy networks and helping community groups launch renewable energy projects, and in her spare time she enoys reading, writing, and hiking around beautiful bushland. Indy studies computer science and loves working out, history and reading.

We enjoy having friends over and have thrown the occasional party, but are generally pretty peaceful. The place would be perfect fora PhD student, or anyone who would like to live somewhere relaxed and friendly that's close to both the ANU and the city. We're looking for housemates who are warm, relaxed, reasonably clean, comfortable sharing a laugh and a conversation but who also value a bit of space and down time.
