Total rent for the two rooms - bedroom plus study - is $233/week, including all utilities, except phone. Sports ovals, a swimming pool and Jamison Mall are within walking distance. Ride ten minutes in a no. 32 bus or cycle beside the lake to ANU; walk or ride to UC. Owner is a friendly, helpful, longtime Canberra resident.

Room1: small carpeted bedroom with double bed, dressing table, wardrobe and small bedside chest of drawers. Linen and warm bedding is provided

Room 2: adjacent study with polished wood floor has plenty of bookshelf space, large desk and chair, settee, walk-in wardrobe with drawers and shelves.

Lodgers have use of an electric kitchen with dishwasher; dining room; lounge; washing-machine (outside clothes line); and sunny deck, garden gazebo, and BBQ firepit. House is centrally gas heated; also, for individual comfort, there are low-wattage electric wall panel heaters in every room. (Note, there is a heating surcharge of $7/week in winter provided use of individual room heating is not extravagant)

Accommodation would well suit mature postgrad student, university staff member, or visiting Fellow.
