3-bedroom shared apartment, Allara Street

Friendly place, fast WiFi and a big double room with lots of shelving and study desk for one person with big double bed, wardrobe etc. Walk to uni or offices, buses outside to Belconnen, Woden, Russell ADFA and Campbell. Share the apartment with friendly postgrad working and studying here and IT consultant. Other room was taken :D You can view the last room evenings between 8pm and 8. 10pm - sorry about the short timeframe - leave your phone number in your message so we can text you eh :) The apartment has 2 decent sized bathrooms with ironing boards and a large size washing machine that can wash blankets as well as a separate clothes dryer. The whole place is peaceful and cosetted for a city apartment, you look out across towards the lake and park where you can walk through to the uni if you don't want to take the shortcut round the corner. There's a bus outside if you want to go round to CSIRO or something, and the satellite towns of Belconnen and Woden are at the other end. We are lucky enough to be opposite an Olympic pool with cheap entry tickets which has both a covered and an outdoor pool last time I used it, we also have a free gym in our own building for residents with lots of machines, and a gorgeous open air barbecue and picnic area on our roof with views to the mountains. All the departments are a short walk and we've shared with all manner of Customs, Health, Home Office, Taxation, Embassy staff and other Department people before :) the apartment suits interstate commuters because you can bring your suitcase on the plane and just lock up and leave each weekend if you've a family interstate. The fast WiFi is good for skyping overseas if you're an international student, and the City shopping mall, cheap eats and supermarket are on our street. The building has elevators and secure access intercom, parcels get delivered into the foyer and even the garbage is easy to throw out - you just put it down a chute outside the front door. Well, that's apartment living for you :) welcome :).
