4-bedroom shared house, Duffy Street

We have one room available for rent in our awesome house, and it's just what you're looking for! Our home is across the road from Mt Ainslie nature reserve and is a short walk to local shops, quick cycle or reasonable walk to the city and close access to buses.

You'll be living with Ester, Amie and Sophie. Sophie is a lifelong Canberran and doing studies in English/Indigenous Studies, Amie works in community arts and peer-counseling and Ester is on exchange from the Netherlands.

We have a warm and friendly homey home. We have interests in art, environment, politics, movement, self-development and cultural exchange etc. We tend not to watch much tv and would probably not be suitable for someone who is a large watcher. We value direct and thoughtful communication with each other and would expect that from people staying. We also value everyone contributing to keeping things around the house functional and the communal spaces clean and tidy :)

The room is a large furnished spacious downstairs room. There is a comfy bed and loungesuite, private toilet, modest kitchenette (kettle and toaster provided) and direct access to back courtyard.

There is central heating in the main house which we use thoughtfully however it doesn't extend downstairs so be prepared for a bit of chill!
