Beautiful, sunny, fully-furnished three bedroom house available for around 3-4 months from January to April 2017 (the length and timing is negotiable). Internet and garden maintenance included in cost.

This is a stylish, older style house with established garden that is a pleasure to live in and is in the best possible position for anyone working or studying at the Australian National University. The house is situated next to the ANU in Turner/O’Connor (1. 2 km from the city and ANU).

We need to travel for work at short notice and so we are keen to sublet the house to someone who is mature and able to look after the house and furnishings while we are away. The timeframe is negotiable and would be perfect for a Visiting Scholar of the ANU and family, especially someone coming from overseas who needs a place to stay either temporarily or while they establish themselves in Australia. We would want to meet either by skype or in person to make sure you are right people to take care of our house. We hope it would provide a really great base for someone first arriving in Canberra.

The house has three bedrooms, with central heating, fireplace, built-in wardrobes and fully furnished.

The street is quiet and enjoys very little through traffic and is located close to Canberra's CBD, the ANU & CSIRO. It is a 10 minute walk to ANU and 15 minutes to the city. It is also very close to the charming Braddon and O'Connor Shops with restaurants, bars, grocery stores nearby.
