Looking a new roommate to rent one fully furnished room in a 4 bedroom sharehouse in Downer. The room, as well as all common areas, are fully furnished. Off street parking available if you have a car. $175/week, rent includes all bills.

Great location, five minutes walk to the Dickson shops (Woolworths, several Asian Grocery stores, and Canberra's best restaurants and bars) or to the very convenient bus routes to campus. Also near a pool, library, and several parks. Could easily bike to campus instead of bus (it takes me 15-20 minutes, which is actually faster than the bus! ). Located on a quiet street in a pleasant suburb, with a great front and back yard, it makes it hard to come in to campus some days.

You would be sharing with four people, including myself (an international PhD student here at CAP), and three roommates (my partner, recent CBE graduate; one doing his PhD in biology; one local starting her Undergrad). In addition to them, there is an indoor cat (very friendly, non-destructive) and an outdoor dog (gentlest dog I've ever met, a little shy).

Rent includes room, all bills, wireless internet, free use of all cutlery and cooking apparatus in the kitchen, and common commodities (toilet paper, etc).

The house has historically been a very welcoming and friendly place, and everybody who has come into it has become good friends, occasionally sharing dinner, drinks, or board games. We share house cleaning duties, and want responsible and clean people to share a home with.
