2-bedroom house, Wearing Street

I am seeking, preferably a visiting couple or family studying or working at ANU or University of Canberra (or even work for the public service)--that need a place for around eight to nine months. The house is fully furnished (even down to sheets and towels if necessary) so people with few belongings would be ideal.

The situation involves me residing in a mostly separate living area upstairs until I leave for overseas for six months mid-April to late September. It may be possible to extend the lease beyond September.

This is a larger house with northerly aspect that perfectly catches the sun first thing during the winter months but has ornamental grapevines to protect its exposure during summer months. The wrap-around deck/veranda affords many tranquil hours sitting outside as well.

I have no pets but I could consider the possibility provided they are not too big--the back garden is fully fenced.

I could consider three graduate students as well.

It is important to have car transport for optimal flexibility although there is bus service. I have space for two cars on the property plus one street-side location (in addition to spaces for my two vehicles).

This is a great place, nice and quiet, fully furnished, with nice neighbours (whose friendship I value). I have an interesting international and domestic (Tasmanian) background and am looking to facilitate an engaging household.
