You can take your pick from two rooms - one with built in robe, one without. The room is unfurnished. You have your own bathroom and separate toilet (only shared with the guest room, available for all house mates to use for visitors).
About the house:
This is a light and airy big 3 bedroom house with a garage, carport and ample off street parking. There is a shed for bike and garden equipment storage, a Hills Hoist, and a lovely garden with some fruit trees and a new veggie patch. Bills (shared) include gas, electricity and internet. We have a cleaner come once a fortnight. It is fully furnished (photos taken while house was still empty), except for your room.
About the area:
You are a 10 minute walk from either the Watson or Hackett shops, and about 2km from the large Dickson shopping complex. Or you can be looking at kangaroos at the base of Mt Majura within a 15 minute walk. There are two bus routes to the city that leave a few minutes from the house, or it is 20 minute ride to the city. You can be either in the bush, in the city or at the shops within 15-20 minutes.
About us:
We are a early-thirties couple (one long time Canberran, one recent arrival) who work full time (one public service, one not). We enjoy having a chat over a cup of tea or dinner, gardening, Netflix, cycling, running, travelling and making some Canberra adventures. Non-smokers.
